Unboxing the Write Notepads & Co. Classic Hardcover Notebook
After a few months of waiting, I finally unboxed – more like unwrapped, really – the Classic Hardcover notebook in blue from Write Notepads & Co (WNP).
This is a fantastic notebook with paper that loves all sorts of writing tools, from pencil to fountain pen. I had light ghosting with only the juicier nibs – the baby oblique and the architect RT – but for me this is fairly typical with these pens across the various notebooks and paper types that I use.
This notebook reminds me a lot of the green notebooks I used when I worked on site at NIH many years ago, but it’s way nicer in look and feel. It also reminds me of what I love about Baronfig Confidant notebooks – however, this notebook is longer than the Confidant by a few inches.
I’m looking forward to using the WNP classic hardcover notebook as my journal for the next few months, and I expect WNP will release a dot grid version before year end. I’d love to see other colors as well, and I expect there’s a few folks who would love a blank page version.
